Please keep our school and community safe - do not send your child to school if they display any symptoms of Coronavirus, please do call school on 0151 525 9776 for further advice if you are unsure and we will be happy to help. Government guidance states, if you have any symptoms of Covid 19 - cough, high temperature or loss of taste or smell - you must produce a negative PCR test, before your child can return to school. Lateral flow tests are for non-symptomatic cases only. Thank you for your continued support.

Rice Lane Primary School

Be happy together, Believe together, Achieve together

At Rice Lane Primary School, we recognise that access to school Twitter accounts (and future emerging social media networks) gives pupils, staff and parents greater opportunities to learn, engage, communicate, and develop skills that will prepare us for work, life, and citizenship. We believe that a school Twitter account is an excellent way for you to stay up-to-date with what has been happening in school on a daily basis and as a way of informing you of future events. It is also a great way of helping our pupils develop 21st-Century technology and communication skills and informing them how to be cyber safe.

As Twitter is web-based we adopt exactly the same rules for our school Twitter account as we do for our school website. No child’s name will be published on the Twitter feed and no photographs of your child will be displayed, if you have not given permission.

Please note that the school will not respond to ‘direct messages’ on Twitter. If you wish to contact the school, please do so via the usual methods.

Our Acceptable Use Policy is available on the ‘Policies’ page of our website.
