Please keep our school and community safe - do not send your child to school if they display any symptoms of Coronavirus, please do call school on 0151 525 9776 for further advice if you are unsure and we will be happy to help. Government guidance states, if you have any symptoms of Covid 19 - cough, temp temperature or loss of taste or smell - you must produce a negative PCR test, before your child can return to school. Lateral flow tests are for non-symptomatic cases only. Thank you for your continued support.

Be happy together, Believe together, Achieve together

RSHE

As part of PSHE at Rice Lane Primary School, during the Summer term, children throughout the school learn, in an age appropriate way, about relationship, sex  and health education (RSHE) within their lessons. As of September 2020, certain aspects of RSHE became statutory within primary schools. Please read our recently updated PSHE & RSHE policy to see how we are delivering this at Rice Lane.

Rice Lane Primary School RSHE Overview:

We use Jigsaw to deliver our RSHE lessons alongside a range of story books and other relevant materials. All of the resources are used at age appropriate stages and the lessons have been carefully chosen for each year group. The RSHE unit is referred to as 'Changing me' and outline of the lessons has been set out below:
