This afternoon, thirty Year 6 children went to Autumn Lodge to sing and entertain the elderly residents. In the morning Mrs Blain had a group of bakers who made delicious scones

After we had sang to the residents, they enjoyed a clotted cream and jam scone

The children then spent some time chatting to everyone; we sang 'Happy Birthday' to Maud who will be 100 years old on Sunday! The staff at Autumn Lodge were highly complimentary about our children, as were Jacqui and Elaine from the Community Police, who accompanied us. It was a wonderful afternoon that brought happiness to elderly members of our community. Please see the Year 6 page for some photographs.
