This week is National Science & Engineering Week (NSEW) is a ten-day national programme of science, technology, engineering and maths events and activities across the UK aimed at people of all ages.
Throughout Rice Lane Infants and Nursery this week there has been lots of activities to raise the profile of science and make science fun and exciting for all children.
We like to involve the wider community in our adventures… so we organised ‘Wacky Science Wednesday’.
After school we had science demonstrations by some of the teachers of fun science experiments you can do at home.
There were balloon rockets, quick frozen milkshakes, fizzy bombs, exploding volcanoes, pond dipping and much much more!
It was lovely seeing so many of you with your parents and carers taking part, the hall was bustling, filled with excitement and awe.
