On Thursday we celebrated International Mud Day!
International Mud Day is children and early childhood professionals all over the world celebrating nature, outdoors, and mess, by getting really muddy! We want to promote the outdoors and all of the wonderful learning experiences that can come from the world around us.
All the children came to school wearing something old so we could get really messy! We planned lots of opportunities for the children to explore, experiment, manipulate, reconfigure, influence, change, marvel, discover, wonder, practice, push their limits, make a mess, yell, sing and create!
It was a fun packed day, and very messy! Take a look at the photos below!
Thanks to all involved,
