Please keep our school and community safe - do not send your child to school if they display any symptoms of Coronavirus, please do call school on 0151 525 9776 for further advice if you are unsure and we will be happy to help. Government guidance states, if you have any symptoms of Covid 19 - cough, high temperature or loss of taste or smell - you must produce a negative PCR test, before your child can return to school. Lateral flow tests are for non-symptomatic cases only. Thank you for your continued support.

Merry Christmas from 5S!

Holly Jolly Christmas by 5S

Welcome back 4J, or should I say the new 5S. I have missed being in class so much and I cannot wait for us to begin our year 5 journey together.

My classroom is a fun place to be, but only if we can work hard and get the important stuff done. I always try and make my lessons as exciting and always look for your involvement. Lots of enthusiasm goes a long way.

We have given out log ins for SeeSaw which will be really important for any home learning, including any further closures, homework and communication between home and school. So please get your children logged on as soon as possible.

School gates open at 8:45am and our school day begins at 9am and finishes at 3:25. We always  try and finish with a nice story before we go home. We are currently reading Cosmic by Frank Cotteral Boyce and we are loving it!

We currently do PE on a Thursday. We will also be starting swimming on a Tuesday afternoon from Tuesday 14th September.

Children are welcome to come in to school dressed in their PE kit for outdoor PE. They may wear Grey/Black jogging bottoms, School PE T Shirt, School jumper/cardigan and trainers or pumps. No hoodies or gym style leggings/crop tops.
