Reach For The Stars!
This is our well being theme for this week. To get us started think of something that you can't yet do (but would like to be able to do) and write this on a piece of paper or fill in the 'goal setting sheet' below. Here are some ideas: riding a bike, baking a cake, making a sandwich or learning one of your times tables off by heart. Don't forget you will need to keep practising and you may come across some challenges at times. Don't give up and you will achieve your goal. More on the power of 'yet' tomorrow.
Summer Reading Challenge
The libraries have started their 'Summer Reading Challenge' early this year. The theme is 'The Silly Squad'. Go to the link below to sign up.

To start this off we are promoting the work of Andy Shepherd. She is the author of a series of books about dragons. We are currently reading her first book - 'The Boy Who Grew Dragons'.
Andy Shepherd - Writing a Letter
Last week Andy Shepherd sent us this tweet -
"Hello Year 4! I hope you enjoy listening and reading along. And that you have lots of fun growing your own dragons!"
Today, I would like us to write a letter to Andy Shepherd asking her any questions that you want to know about her books or dragons. Please make sure you have listened to this story before you write your letter.
If you have missed any chapters please go to the bottom of the Y4 web page - they are all there from the 4th of June.
Please either tweet your letter or send it to school closures and we will send them or tweet them to her. Wouldn't it be great if we got a letter back!
