Reading

Last week was 'Children's Book Week', and to celebrate we are read the first 4 chapters of 'When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit' by Judith Kerr on Rice Lane Primary School's YouTube channel. You can get the links for each reading via twitter. It is a book set at the time of the second world war so it fitted with VE Day, which was last Friday. Please continue to encourage your child to read a book and fill in a book review (available below), or your child could video themselves reading a book and sending it to us (Twitter or email at school closures) or video themselves re-telling a story.

We have introduced an online lending library which will run until the 30th of June.

The website address for this lending library is www.getepic.com/students

Each class has a code to access the site. These will have been send out in an app or emailed to you.

Check out this website for more details and activities based around books.
