Please keep our school and community safe - do not send your child to school if they display any symptoms of Coronavirus, please do call school on 0151 525 9776 for further advice if you are unsure and we will be happy to help. Government guidance states, if you have any symptoms of Covid 19 - cough, high temperature or loss of taste or smell - you must produce a negative PCR test, before your child can return to school. Lateral flow tests are for non-symptomatic cases only. Thank you for your continued support.

Children's Mental Health Week

This week (8-14 February 2016), it's Children's Mental Health week.

To raise awareness of keeping mentally healthy pupils have had assemblies and workshops this week on how to build resilience and ways in which to 'bounce back' from the challenges that they can face.

Go to the Place2Be section and the Relax Kids section for handy tips to support in building your child's resilience.

Our two Learning Mentors spent time this week in individual classes...

In Key Stage one Mr Cooney got pupils to blow their worries into balloons and then let them go.

In Key Stage two Mrs Gillingham showed the pupils a basket of props that she uses to help her focus, relax and clear her mind.  She then invited the pupils to join in a relaxation exercise.
